Treasure HunterJump on board and join the crew to work together to explore everyday engineering challenges to find buried treasure. In this class we focus on mechanical and marine engineering. Students will explore the ideas of buoyancy and surface area as they design their pirate ships, the sails for their ships, and a system to retrieve sunken treasures! So what do you say; Are you ready to sail the seas? Being a Treasure Hunter involves more than just searching for buried treasure. Our Engineering For Kids students have to engineer ways to build their ship, load it up, and sail around the world. Students take home the projects they build.Sphero Bolt Robotics: Olympics Sporting events are always exciting but we take it to the next level with robots. During this session, students design and program robots to compete in simulated Olympic events. Program our new Sphero robots to compete in Olympic events like relay races, long jump, chariot racing, curling, synchronized swimming, and archery. Students use Sphero Bolts and iPads to learn principles of robotics, computer programming, and teamwork.
