Session l - Wings, Wheels & Sails
Everyone has to travel, and engineers are involved in all the steps of designing different modes of transportation as well as inventing and designing tools that aid in travel. In this class, students will explore the thought process behind road design, construct shapes that make sound bridges and test them, design a boat to float across the ocean, and discover and build designs that let us travel through the air and even into space. Students take home the project they build.

Session II- Intro to Coding
Coding is the new literacy! Children can program their own interactive stories. This multimedia adventure is the perfect course for aspiring coders. On a tablet, your student will create animated stories and games while learning programming concepts. With this drag-and-drop platform developed, they‛ll play with sprites and blocks to set a foundation of computational thinking—an essential skill in today‛s tech-driven world.

Children snap together graphical programming blocks to make characters move, jump, dance, and sing. Children can modify characters in the paint editor, add their own voices and sounds, then use the programming blocks to make their characters come to life.
